"Fusion", "Cabaret" and "Tribal" are NOT acceptable styles of bellydance to brag about being "skilled in". That is all modern shit and a crap excuse to wear too much eyeliner, polyester camel tassels, and weird lame turbans that hook onto your myriad facial piercings and compliment your faux dread-locked and dyed hair.

Turkish, Sword/Cane, Gowhazee, those are acceptable.

I was reading a CF community, that started talking about bellydancers (WTF does that have to do with CF???), and some dumb cow was twittering about all the KEWL styles she studied, not a one of them which was based in any sort of tradition or reality that isn't 20th C, and pulled entirely out of someone's ass because they were too lazy to study traditional styles, or protesting some mean cruel teacher who wouldn't give them TEH STARRING ROLE because they sucked.

(not that I have ANY experience with that at ALL, no no lol)
