There is a local pizza place that understands that garlic is, in fact, a food group. This is a Good Thing (tm) because so many local places have to be begged and threatened and cajoled to add triple garlic to what they consider "acceptable" levels, just so that you can taste it. Not this place - here, you take a bite and nearly gag because they strew solid spoonfuls liberally throughout the calzone/pizza/stromboli in question.

So here I sit, after 2 teethbrushings, a post-prandial peppermint, and an indulgent morning coffee, covered in silver jewelry depicting bats, listening to Concrete Blond's "Bloodletting"..... reeking of garlic.

Heh.

Like Vlad told Nanny Ogg, we're quite FOND of garlic...

Sounds wonderful! At various times throughout the year I get garlic cravings and make stir frys of garlic with a few veggies to lend it credibility. TK won't come near them.

DUH - *YOU* know that and *I* know that, but you have to remember that in Lancaster, using salt AND pepper is "Fancy Cookin'"

(Mayo in everything is presumed, especially in dessert)

Yeah, your icon still disturbs me....

Mmm. Garlic. Now I want some of my garlic mashed taters -- may just have to make them for dinner tonight!
