WTF

I have no issue with women in the military whatsoever. I think it's short-sighted for the US government to keep women from active combat, particularly when it's clear that women ARE being in active combat.

NPR's article this morning on a woman at West Point confused me. Her mother claims she's a pacifist. The woman herself said that she understands that war has to happen.

Why the fuck are you going into the military, why study at West Point, if you don't want to be a soldier?
