If you fart, do you gain weight or lose weight?

ie, is the air (define as you will) inside you making you bouyant which would mean that getting rid of it will make you weigh more? Or is that air made of measurable mass and getting rid of it will lighten you up?

I ask because last night one of the cats bombed us in a brutal and heinous way.

I have these socks that I have been laboring over. I mean really forcing myself to work on. I like red, I like soft wool. What's not to enjoy? They even have wee volcanos on them!

But it has been agony getting off my ass and working on the damn thing. I only have one pair of 1.5 DPNs, so couldn't do two at the same time, and mostly have only worked on it while traveling on trains.

edgeds totally made his INT throw, and suggested that I didn't *need* to make matching socks, I could make one and use it for a feline kibble xmas stocking, or as a gift to hold whateverness.

Thank goodness, I suddenly have motivation to finish the fucking thing now that I only need to make one of them!! YAYYYY!!
