They're "trying to create a town with traditional values". Dude, it won't work. Can't legislate that. And, really, a University town, however Catholic, with no BC WILL have lots and lots of preg. students.

agreed. trying to create a town like this with modern ppl populating it is going to fail. I mean, it's a nice idea if you want to go that route, but what woman is going to go into that situation? really? oh gee, 'm pregnant for the 5th time! it must be god's will that we keep having unprotected sex and I keep getting pregnant!! it can't be that I could be on birth control and you could be using a condom!! no no!! those're things we've never heard of!!

I just... I don't see how he's going to keep the outside world - the REAL world - from seeping into this place.

However odd it may seem, there are thousands of people who live exactly like that now. Tons of devout Catholics would rather stop having sex than use birth control. Or just have a million kids. Personally, I don't get it, but whatever.
