I don't even know where to begin!
I ordered imps from BPAL in mid-January, she got the order out in a vaguely timely manner, and Priority Mail delivery was claimed on Tuesday, February 20. It didn't arrive. I spend Wednesday at various medical offices, and go to the office that afternoon to talk with Llama; there is no package. Friday, I go to the office to pick up my paycheck, STILL no package. I drop a note to BPAL, she says "it wasn't returned, whatchadoo is contact the USPS, they'll probably say WE DELIVERED U GO AWAY NOW but they should let you file a complaint. Email me that complaint number, and I will resend your imps".
So today I call USPS, and get the stupidest man on the planet. Nasty, short-tempered and rude. I don't care that my brother works for the USPS, they hire 90% idiots. I am pleasant and friendly to start, he interrupts me. He asks me for information and I apparently speak too quickly for him and his yellow crayon, despite having asked me in what I presumed a way that meant he was ready to take down the information. I give him other information he requests, he tells me they can't accept "care of" I explain twice that it is the name of the office, all right, fine, we'll go to the next question. He says he can't access the information I need, he has to give me another number. "Okay, what is that number?" I ask, he says "If you WAIT a minute, I will give it to you"
So I think him for giving me a local number,and tell him he's been REMARKABLY helpful, and hang up on whatever it was he was saying. I call the local number.
It's a pharmacy.
Pharmacy says "oh, we get this all the time, this number is part of a hub, and we're used to it, here is the correct number to call."
And she gives me the original number I'd called to speak with Moron Boy in the first place.
I have now sent a form email to the USPS, and a note to BPAL. Presumably, none of this will be successful, and I will have to wait until we are actually going out of the apartment for errands to get to the post office so that I can file a complaint.
I JUST WANT MY IMPS - WHY IS HIS SO FUCKING HARD?? Why does USPS hate me? Even with TRACKING they lose packages of mine!!
