Why follow-through really is important....
Yet another prize-winning client of ours, she wants to be a diva, flits about the country and across the globe and is oh-so-busy and can't ever be reached because she is so busy being fabulous. Multiple phone calls and messages left on answering machines result in a single returned call after hours on the office machine.
She calls today (because it's always an emergency RIGHT NOW) and says that she needs a copy of her will faxed to her IMMEDIATELY.
I poke through her file, and I find that she was sent a draft back in February of 2003, and never signed it.
Of course she is hysterics, fortunately it's with boss, not me....
So follow-up, people. Sign your living will and your Last Will today, and get them copied, too.
